Northcote Cookery School is one of the best places to learn the art of cooking. Embark on this week-long masterclass that will take you deep into the heart of Northcote’s kitchen and wine cellar. This all-encompassing course covers an extensive range of skills and techniques, such as smoking, curing, pastry making, butchery, fishmongery, wine pairing, and more. Over the course of the 5 days, you will learn from some of the best tutors in the industry, who will take you through the ins and outs of cooking. 

The course is designed to be hands-on, with practical sessions every day to help you apply what you have learned in theory. You will learn how to prepare and cook a variety of dishes from simple classics to more sophisticated recipes. In addition to the practical sessions, you will also have lectures and demonstrations on a variety of topics, such as menu planning and wine pairing. You will have the opportunity to interact with the tutors and other students, sharing ideas and tips on how to improve your cooking. Included in your ultimate cookery school week is a special trip around the Ribble Valley, where you’ll meet some of the local suppliers and producers who provide the ingredients that make Northcote’s cuisine so exceptional. At the end of the course, you will have a set of new skills and knowledge that will enable you to cook with confidence and creativity. You will be awarded a certificate of completion, which will be a testament to your dedication and hard work.
