Flavours of Asia

4th May 2023

£235.00

You will learn how to make the most famous type of Gyoza in Japan is Yaki-Gyoza. This style of Gyoza is very similar to the Chinese ‘potsticker’ dumplings. The prepared dumplings are placed in a pan and fried for a short time, water is then added to the pan and a lid placed on top, to steam the dumplings. When the steaming process is complete, the lid of the pan is removed and the Gyoza are left to continue to crisp.

What you will be making:

  • Sushi making, hand formed nagri, and the perfect traditional Californian roll
  • Dim sum making – you will be guided through the incredible tradition of dim sum making including siu mai, gyoza, and bao buns.
  • Burmese pork belly curry, boa buns, tradition pickles, sticky rice

A combination of hands-on cooking and demonstration. Eat as you cook and takeaway your creations. You will leave with tips and tricks to cook more delicious dishes at home.

Included in this course:

  • Morning tea & coffee served with light breakfast
  • Eat as you cook and takeaway your creations
