We are thrilled to welcome the team at BEHER, a renowned name in the world of Iberian ham, for an exclusive Spanish-themed event in our Louis Roederer Room. Join us for an evening of culinary delight, where you can experience the art of ham carving first-hand, expertly demonstrated by BEHER’s master carvers.

BEHER’s story is one of tradition, excellence, and innovation, dating back to the early 1930s when their founder, Bernardo Hernández Blázquez, began crafting Iberian products using artisanal methods. Over the decades, BEHER has grown exponentially under the leadership of subsequent generations, becoming an internationally recognized brand synonymous with quality.

Today, they continue to uphold their commitment to authenticity and excellence, now led by the fourth generation of the Hernández family. At this event, guests will have the opportunity to savour a selection of BEHER’s finest Iberian ham, perfectly paired with a curated range of exquisite sherries, bringing the flavours of Spain to life in an unforgettable experience.

BEHER hams are long, elegantly crafted pieces with exceptionally fine bones, showcasing the hallmark traits of the pure 100% Iberian breed. They have the perfect balance of fat and lean meat. Their deep cherry red colour, the gleaming, smooth fat, and the even marbling set them apart. The aroma is intense, the meat is incredibly juicy, and the texture is tender. Their distinctive and rich flavour lingers pleasantly on the palate.

Nick Adams – Master of Wine, has worked with Craig (Northcote’s MD) and Julian (owner of The Wright Wine Company) for many years to create Northcote’s award-winning wine list. He has been in the wine trade for over 35 years, passing the Master of Wine exam in 1992, one of only 416 in the  world at the latest count. He grew up in the good old W&A Gilbey Wholesale, before moving onto running the pioneering Geoffrey Roberts agency house. Nick now runs his own company First Glass Wine Services Ltd, working closely with producers and On Trades (especially hotels and restaurant) along with corporate clients. He is an Approved WSET Licensed Educator.
